Wiper Shoe

- In many instances draw bends are required in material is too hard, too thin, or shaped in such a manner that the metal on the inside radius of the bend forms a hump or series of wrinkles. The function of a wiper die is to fill the gap behind the bending form and confine the metal into a smooth, wrinkle free compression on the inside radius.
- Siddhivinayak Engineering Wiper shoe are precision cut from pre-formed blanks of alloy steel, Hard chrome plated for non ferrous or mild steel tube, or from an aluminum bronze alloy for stainless steel or other high tool pressure applications. For reduced tube drag, tube grooves are ground and lubes each tube and wiper shoe. Wiper shoe must be content 80% with bending die for longest life.
